A Long White Dress

A long white dress.

An angelic face.

A church.

Dapper men in suits.

Proud parents.

Solemn vows.

Joyously tearful congregation.

Her eyes remain dry, even as the priest dampens her brow.

She is Christened.

And she sighs as she buries her head back into the crook of her father’s elbow and drifts back to sleep.

A celebration.

You write beautifully! You suck me in every time, don’t change it. You write how I speak!! (only you are more articulate!)
I aspire to write with your honesty though 🙂
